Mariame Kaba's book cover brought to life in poster form! This poster is a modified illustration of the cover of We Do This 'Til We Free Us: Abolitionist Organizing & Transforming Justice by Mariame Kaba, edited by Tamara Nopper, and published by Haymarket Books.

This artwork has truly come a long way, with its first rendition created in 2017 in collaboration with Mariame as part of the #MariameTaughtMe postcard series. The postcard included the words "Hope is a Discipline" which Mariame first heard from a nun and was quickly picked up by so many of us who needed to hear those words in our daily organizing work.
